Quick Guide to New Online Users

  1. Go Online and Register: Create your account at cbyd.com. Registration requires updated details so utilities can communicate with you directly.
  2. You Are Ready: After registering or logging in, use the Start Console to create tickets, manage your information, and set defaults.
  3. Describe Your Ticket: Provide work dates, nature, urgency, and specifics to help utilities plan safe responses.
  4. Map Your Ticket: Search for your dig site, draw the area on the map, and confirm the address. Add notes if needed.
  5. Confirmation: Once submitted, utilities are notified. You’ll receive a confirmation with your ticket number and details. Review carefully.
Remember! Do not begin work until all utilities have marked facilities or contacted you directly. If damage occurs, notify the affected utility immediately. Emergency tickets also require direct utility contact.
